Desmodors are non-volatile two-component polyurethanes and are used as solvents in the paint industry. This product is flammable and is often added to epoxy resins to increase flexibility and increase adhesion.
Desmodors play an important role in the production of polyurethane paints and add anti-scratch properties and more brightness to the final color. As a hardener, this substance can be diluted with all kinds of solvents, and since it adheres well to its underlying layers, it is also used in the production of floor coverings.
Also, its other important application is in the production of car coating and car paint, the production of glue and furniture covers. Desmodors are used as hardeners in paints, which hardeners often have the task of hardening and repairing in paints and epoxy resins.
