Unlike the cobalt dryer, this product penetrates deep into the color and dries the colors in depth.

Uses of Calcium Nitrate 

Calcium Nitrate has a liquid appearance that is bright yellow in color and due to the fact that it contains petroleum substances, it may be toxic and it is better to observe safety precautions while working with it.
Calcium octoate has many uses in dyeing and can be added to oil paint and cobalt drier in measured amounts. Note that this substance must be used in the necessary amount; Because increasing its excessive use causes the paint layers to break.
Using cobalt and Calcium Nitrate together with the same ratio causes drying of oil paint films and thus helps to improve drying acceleration.
Due to its better adhesion, this material is used in the paint, resin, and printing ink industries. It is also used to produce glue.
The chemical nature of this product is calcium and ethyl hexanoate, and it is also used as a filling agent for pigments, which prevents the colors from drying out in the long term.

When cobalt drier is added to paint, colors tend to wrinkle. Adding measured amounts of calcium desiccant prevents wrinkling and also reduces the possibility of cloudiness or whiteness on colors; Finally, it makes the color shiny and transparent and improves the final result of the work.

This product has the ability to dissolve with xylene, butyl acetate and methyl ethyl ketone and also has the ability to combine with other driers and oily resins.
The high solubility of this substance with other organic compounds has caused it to have very wide applications that currently the paint and resin industry cannot be imagined without this substance; Therefore, its production is done in abundance and it is sold in different packages by different brands.
