This product has a brown color and a liquid appearance, which is used as an active ingredient in the production of detergents. Uses of Sulfonic Acid 

• Sulphonic acids have strong stain removal and degreasing properties and are also used as lubricants due to their hydrophilicity. This product acts as an activator in the washing industry and is used as an emulsifier in lubricating oils.
• The high cleaning property of this product has made most of the glass cleaners and industrial cleaners to be obtained from this material.
• This substance reduces the hardness of water, thus preventing the formation of sediments and cleaning the sediments.
• This substance gives foaming and stain removing properties to detergents and is often used in hand and machine powders, shampoo, soap, washing liquid and dishwashing liquid. Among the other uses of this product, it can be mentioned in the paint industry that this material is used in the production of washable dyes and antiquitone.
• Sulfuric acid plays an important role in the production of car paint and coatings, and the coatings based on this strong acid are very resistant to sunlight, wear and corrosion. It is also used in the dyeing and textile industry to clarify fabrics and stabilize their color.
• Considering that sulfonic acid is a strong acid, it can be used as a catalyst. In fact, catalysts are substances that initiate chemical reactions, and in the presence of catalysts, various substances and organic solvents such as para-toluene sulfonic acid or methane sulfonic acid are produced.
• This product is used in the pharmaceutical industry as an antibacterial substance, and sulfa drugs are based on this substance, and it prevents the growth of bacteria and infection.
• It is necessary to know that sulfonic acid is very different from sulfuric acid and some people confuse the two because of the similarity of the name; But these two products are very different in terms of chemical formula and sulfuric acid is more corrosive than this substance.
